The legend wants that the wild geese leave for the autumn migration to the wintering sites, from which they will return in early spring (February-March). They stop for the winter in Tuscany too and, according to legend, near the vineyards on the hills between Pisa and Florence and the Maremma, which will restart after wintering almost "Ciuca", "drunk“.
