L'oca Ciuca

The legend tells..

wild geese embarking each year on their autumn migration toward their wintering grounds, before returning with the arrival of spring. Some of them spend the winter in Tuscany, among the vineyards that stretch across the hills between Pisa, Florence, and the Maremma region.

It is said that, after spending the winter among these lands rich in nature and aromas, they depart almost “ciuca” — cheerful and pleasantly intoxicated. As they fly, the flocks trace their characteristic “V” shape across the sky.

From this charming legend comes the name of the brand L’OCA CIUCA — “The Drunken Goose” — a symbol of conviviality, tradition, and authentic Tuscan spirit.
